NSP2 Lender Partners

You do not have to search for a bank or a loan officer on your own.

Your counselor works with specific banking partners who understand the NSP2 program. Certain lenders offer purchase/renovation loans (FHA 203k or SONYMA Remodel New York) which allow you to buy and fix up a home using one loan, which means just one closing. Your NSP2 counselor will refer you to their loan officers at these banks when you are ready for pre-qualifications and help you choose one of their sustainable mortgages when you’re ready to buy.

For the NSP2 program, you will use one of these participating lenders:

  • Astoria Federal Savings and Loan Association
  • Bank of America
  • Capital One
  • Citibank
  • HSBC Bank
  • JP Morgan Chase
  • M & T Bank

 

This program is administered by The New York Mortgage Coalition in partnership with Neighborhood Housing Services of New York City, Inc. New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development and ten community-based homeownership counseling agencies.
